Obituary of George W. Barker

George W. Barker, Born July 11, 1929, passed away on May 16, 2020.

George was predeceased by wife, Dorothy E. Barker in 2003.

He was a loving Father to his daughters: Susan (Brian) Kyhos, Beverly Hettig, Joanne Boyd; loving Grandpa to: Megan (Andrew) Szwez, Keighley (Andy) Jeremias, Lonni (Chris) Summers, Heath Hettig (Lisa), Adrienne Hettig (Art), Roxanne Hettig (John), Evan Hettig (Olivia), George (Kara) Boyd, Galaxy Walker: and 14 Great Grandchildren who will miss him so very much. 

He was the past owner of Ridge Meadow Turkey Farm; Past President of Monroe County Fair; Past President and General Manager of Finger Lakes Racing Association.
Trustee of New York State Agriculture and Horse Breeding Fund; Past President of New York State Association of Fair Managers; Past President of New York State Association of Agricultural Fairs.

George was a member of Henrietta United Church of Christ for over 65 years.

A private family celebration of Dad’s life will be held at a later date.
