Obituary of Leona M. Foley

The Foley family announces the passing of their beloved mother, Leona Foley, who died peacefully on May 20, 2020 at the age of 85.  Born in the Hamlet of Eldred, NY, Leona grew up in Flushing, NY where, at the age of 14, she met her future husband and the love of her life, Terrence Joseph Foley (who predeceased her on May 24, 2006).  Leona’s career began in NYC as a proof-reader and stenographer. An opportunity to be a part of the McQuaid faculty for Terry brought them to Rochester, NY. She is survived by two daughters, Laura Liebel (Jeff) and Caroline McNamara, 6 grandchildren, Leslie (Marcus) Rembowicz, Meghan (Justin) Hockemeyer, Chelsea (Ted) Cavanaugh, Ally (Trevor) Clark, Mikayla McNamara (Sam Hvezda) and Troy Liebel. 1 great grandchild, Kegan Rembowicz.
