Obituary of Thomas J. Garvie

Thomas Garvie passed away on June 5, 2020 just shy of his 80th birthday. He is survived by his daughters, Ann (Hanh) Garvie and Teresa (Jeffrey) Kachala; grandchildren, Nicholas, Christopher and Jonathan; Judith (Garvie) Anderson; cousins and many dear friends. 

Tom retired from the United States Postal Service after 40 years of service and was a proud U.S. Army Veteran. He enjoyed golf, travel - especially to Ireland, and reading. He was a history buff and a music and movie trivia genius. Tom was quick-witted with a wry sense of humor which amused us all, including hospital staff up to his dying day. He was a long-time supporter of Lollipop Farm as well as various childrens' charities.

He will be dearly missed by family and friends.

Service and interment will be held privately at this time. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Golisano's Childrens' Hospital.(DONATE)
