Gary McHenry, 67 years old, of Henrietta, NY passed away peacefully at home on July 30, 2020. He was born in Poughkeepsie, NY to the late Robert and Jean McHenry. Survived by his daughter, Kaitlynn McHenry and son, Curtis McHenry; siblings, Nancy Hunter, Scott (Barbara) McHenry, and Melissa (Beth Bailey) McHenry; nieces and nephews, Kelly Patterson, Andy Swan, Jeff (Candace) Swan, Carrie (Josh) Trubia, Addyson McHenry, and Brynn McHenry; and his loyal canine companion, Manny; as well as several cousins, and life-long friends whom he held close to his heart.

Gary spent most of his life in Henrietta, NY where he attended high school and later raised his family and ran his business, Pro-Tech Exterminating. A sportsman and lover of the outdoors, he spent many years hunting, fishing, and camping with family and friends. He adored dogs all his life and enjoyed his days pheasant hunting with his champion labradors. As a young adult he built and drag raced classic cars. He drove truck, and enjoyed several motorcycles that he owned throughout his life. Gary became a talented woodworker and was fond of working at his lathe. He was wildly funny, quick witted, and had a pun for any situation. Gary lived to laugh and always aimed to make those around him laugh too.

What he was most proud of are his two children. He loved to brag on them and held each of their accomplishments with great esteem. He will be truly missed by all who loved him.
