Obituary of Barbara M. Baumeister

On August 29, 2012 at the age of 81. Predeceased by mother Mary "Isabelle" Ames Miller, father Allan Miller and brother Richard Miller. Survived by daughters Nancy Charlotte Baumeister, Lynn Karen (Theodore Hodapp) Baumeister and Carol Lisa Baumeister. Barbara was born April 3rd, 1931 in Bemidji, MN. She played clarinet with the Houston Youth Symphony, and she received a Bachelor's Degree from Stanford University. In 1955 she married Phillip Baumeister and the couple moved to Rochester in 1959. She became a tax accountant and opened her own tax preparation business with many loyal clients. She continued this practice as an Enrolled Agent until shortly before her death - when she did not recognize an IRS form 1040-EZ, we knew the end was near. She was a resident at Wolk Manor in the last years of her life. Besides taxes, she loved family, friends, nature, animals, birds and plants. Her Memorial Service will be celebrated at Noon on SATURDAY in the Interfaith Chapel of Miller Funeral Homes, Inc. (3325 Winton Road South, Rochester, NY 14623).
