Obituary of Herbert P. Davis

Herbert Davis Passed away peacefully on August 28, 2012 at age 83. He is survived by his wife and partner, Suzanne; children, Debbie (Gary) Davis, Paul (Pavlina) Davis, Dr. Derek Davis, Megan (David) Alekson, Joana Fitch, Kevin (Carissa) Kasbohm; 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; brothers, Dr. Brack (Joanne) Davis, Forster (Ina) Davis; numerous nieces, nephews and friends including Bob & Joann DeRoo. Herb will be remembered as an avid bicyclist, photographer and skier with a lifelong strong work ethic with service to community through his participation with the Eagle Scouts, school board, men’s civic groups and church organizations. He retired from Gannett Newspapers and the Town of Henrietta. The family would like to offer a special thanks for the loving care provided by the Presbyterian Home, Highland Hospital and North 2 of the Shore Winds Nursing Home. Family and friends are invited to Herb’s Memorial Service on SATURDAY September 8th at 2PM in the Miller Funeral Homes Interfaith Chapel, 3325 Winton Road South.
