We are patrons of Brongo Bowl and were deeply saddened to hear of Tom's passing. We wanted to share a couple of stories of Tom that will make you smile. On one occassion I took my daughter bowling after we had waited in line for hours to see Sarah Palin at Borders in Henrietta. When Tom caught wind of this, he excitedly dragged us into his office to share a picture of Sarah Palin with him at Brongo Bowl! He had us convinced for a few minutes until we noticed some of the other employees snickering! Another time, my husband I were out on a date (rare occassion), and we ended up coming to the alley close to closing time. Tom noticed we were on a date and told us to take our time and bowl as many games as we liked. We were the last bowlers in the place by the time we left. Tom was absolutely a bright and shining star in our community. Here with us or in heaven he will continue to make us smile.

i first met Tom 37 years ago one night at the bowling alley. It started a friendship that lasted all these years through the good times and bad. He was always there with a kind word and whatever help I needed. I worked for him for many years cooking steaks, bartending
and whatever else we got into. I will always remember driving by and seeing just his truck at the alley, stopping in to spend 30 to 60 minutes having a beer and talking.
I miss him already more than I can say without tearing up. Go get'em up there bub!

Way too fast, way too soon. Tom, you were a mentor, a friend, and partner in crime at every convention. Everytime I hear an uncommonly large word, eat calamari, or see a man wearing an inflatable horse, I will think of you and smile. Love you my friend. JR

Tom,
Every birthday I will miss my 12:00 a.m. call from you. You WERE always the first caller! This birthday I will be awake, thinking of you and smile.
Every Christmas, I promise to fight with the same vigor you did for the stupidest gift. Laurie's gift game was always the highlight of our celebration.
Every time I go to the land, I will look to the chair with your "infamous sweator" and smile fondly. I will look at your Uncle Sam hat and the green alien, and remember your enthusiasm to always have fun...Tommy style.
And I will look at the bunk house and remember how you arranged the "honeymoon suite" for Phil and I, and made the ice cream sundaes. I will know how blessed I have been to have you as my brother.
I love you. Hugs to Mom and Dad. I will see you again on the other side.

It is with such great sadness that I share with you the many fond memories we have of Tom. The most cherished of them all are the stories he OFTEN shared of his family, especially of his grandson that he placed high above all. He was so very proud! His humorous ways showed us all "the kid at heart" that he truly was. He never let an opportunity go by without telling a joke or playing a joke. Rest in peace Friend! May the days ahead allow much healing for your family and friends.
