My beautiful smiling Aunt Eunie – always a radiant light, always a laugh, always a loving, encouraging word. She was a bottomless well of patience with me, whether baby-sitting in my childhood, or teaching me about fabrics and grand theatrical drapery in our unique industry. I thank God that I have been wonderfully blessed with her in my life.
Eunice was ultimately responsible for the “frosting on the cake” with the elegant stage curtains of countless Performing Arts Centers around the country, and the world. Besides all of the innumerable opening nights at prestigious Concert Halls (showcasing her seamstress skills), one highlight in her life that she frequently and proudly recounted was the night that Elvis winked at her, and gave her a special “hey babe!” greeting backstage at the Las Vegas Hilton.
Eunice never had a cross word for unpleasant people in our industry filled with arrogant egotistical narcissists, but instead always found the goodness within them and spoke highly about their good attributes. She is one singularly rare person who surely had not one single adversary in the world, but everyone who knew her loved her, without exception. She is loved and missed tremendously.

What a wonderful lady. I worked with Eunice for over 12 years. She always had a smile on her face. She was a dedicated hard worker, and great seamstress. She taught me many things about sewing, the theatre, and about being a nice caring person. I have missed that smile for many years. Rest in peace now lovely lady. You have earned it.
