Obituary of Joan Glavin

On January 2, 2013 at age 72. Predeceased by her grandson, Max Glavin-Beiner; brother-in-law, Peter Glavin. Survived by her husband of 51 years, John Glavin; 4 daughters, Colleen (Bernard) Beiner of Ridgefield, CT, Christine (Eric) Kleiber of Alexandria, VA, Corrine (Peter) Krumenacker of Raleigh, NC & Cielene (Don) Aleksejus of Chattanooga, TN; grandchildren, Katherine Beiner, Kaitlin, Erin, Thomas, Christopher & Karolin Kleiber, Megan Krumenacker; sister, Lorraine Ghignone of Staten Island; brothers & sisters-in-law, Thomas (Elizabeth Anne) Glavin, Kathleen (Michael) Kanealey, Daniel (Catherine) Glavin, William Glavin, Mary Beth (Michael) Hasenauer & Christine Glavin; many nieces and nephews. Joan attended Fordham University and graduated from Nazareth College. She was co-founder of the Ausonia Foundation. Joan's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, FRIDAY, 11:30 at St. Mary of the Assumption Church (99 Main St., Scottsville VIEW MAP). The family will receive guests at church beginning at 11.
