Our most sincere Condolences to
Al, Mike, Val, Steve, Mom & Dad Berg, Rocky, many Relatives and So many River Rat Brothers & Sisters that were touched by Karen's aura of Love she showed to Everyone!!
Growing up right next door and ironically sharing an April 4th Birthday gave an even closer bond as we wished each other,"Happy Birthday" with a "Hug -n- Kiss".
Such a "Special" Family!! Decorating the front Christmas trees with bright bulbs each year, and they were changed each day. As Brother Jim and I used the bulbs for target shooting every Christmas season. Al & Karen's Dad would change the bulbs, with not a harsh word. Knowing we trained, for the Russian attack we had heard. These parents that taught their children, to Love in every way. Gave us all "Special" memories to cherish, that will never fade away.
Speaking for all, that were touched, by each familiy members Love. A "Special" part, of all our hearts; Holds a "Light" named "Karen", that shines from above...

I can't believe your not here anymore Karen. It seems impossible. I thank you for the privilege of knowing you as well as working with you. You are such a loving, caring, funny soul. Such a great woman, mother and wife. You thought I would stay after my shifts @ TJ Conner to help you with whatever I could and yes you were right to a extent... Truth was I loved sitting and chatting with you. You always made me smile and laugh. You talked of your children all the time with love & pride of them. Updated me always about Val as she went to school w my sister. You always found the time to see how I was and ask and hear about my daughter. You were so happy to hear & meet my youngest daughter when she came. You always encouraged me and let me know you were proud of me as a Mom and a single Mom. You had words of encouragement and reassured me I was doing a good job and you were proud. Always had everyone's back including mine and always brightened the room with all of us. The children loved and adored you. I can't believe I won't see you anymore. Until we meet again. Thank you for being you and being a wonderful woman and my friend. RIP Mrs. Berg... Karen. My thoughts and prayers are with you Mike, Val & Steve along with family and friends and co workers. Xoxo. Lean on the Lord for your strength. He will hold you up when you feel you can't find the strength.

I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God's love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow-not even the powers of hell can separate us from God's love.

Words cannot express how truely sorry we are to hear of Karen's passing. Our hearts are breaking for each one of you. Please know you are in our thoughts & prayers during this very difficult time. There are so many wondering loving memories of Karen through the years..so many close to my heart. I am so proud to have had her for my cousin.I know in your heart that Love Lives On: The gift of love last forever. It cannot wear out or grow old. It cannot be taken from us. The gift of love last far longer than sorrow, which is a shadow that will, in time, pass like a cloud. The gift of love is the true inheritance of our hearts. We carry it with us everyday. And pass it on, just as it was given to us. This is what Karen would want us to do is to pass that love on. May that gift of love give you & family comfort and feelings of peace with each day that passes. All our love, Debbie,Tony,Trisha,Alex,Ryan, and Sierrah Cousins from Tennessee

Buske & Berg Family, our thoughts are with you all. Karen will live in our memories as a loving Mother and Aunt, also as the smiling neighbor who fed PeeWee, Kujo, & Zero bones through the fence. She always welcomed friends into her home, and treated us as family. We still read stories from the books she bought for the kids. She will be greatly missed.
Love to you all-
