Obituary of Claudio Apollonio

On January 18, 2013 at age 67 with his whole family by his side. A courageous man, Claudio fought cancer 5 times over the course of 20 years. Predeceased by his parents, Giuseppe & Giacomina Apollonio. He is survived by his loving family, wife, Brenda; daughters, Danielle & Christina; brothers, Renato (Janet), Antonio, Adriano & Attilio (Ruth)Apollonio; sisters, Patricia (Michael) Luzzio & Diana (Kevin) Adolphson; mother-in-law, Janet Schmidt; brother-in-law, Robert Schmidt; many nieces & nephews; his faithful dog, Vinny. Claudio was a proud veteran and was devoted tirelessly to his family. For many years he was a custom tailor at his family's business, Nello's Pants and later worked for 12 years with the United States Post Office. An avid NY Giants & NY Yankees fan. At Claudio's request no prior calling hours will be observed. A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 2, 2013, 11 AM at St. Joseph Church (43 Gebhardt Road Penfield, NY 14526). A reception will follow at the church. Interment private.
