To the family of Mrs. Viel: I am sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Viel. May the memories of her help to ease your pain of sorrow. The Bible brings us great comfort. An example, when Jesus resurrected his friend Lazarus in John chapter 11. He liken death to sleep, and he promised a future resurrection at John 5:28 & 29, which states, " Do not marvel at this because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.
I hope & pray that these words can bring you & your family a measure of comfort until the fulfillment of them.
Love,
D

Worked with Lori at "The Dickens" so many years ago!! Have stayed friends and enjoyed our Dickens Reunions over the years. So happy to have been able to spend Lori's 80th Birthday with her, Norma, Josephine (from the Dickens Restaurant) and the rest of Lori's family. Rest in peace my friend! With love!

My thoughts and prayers are with the Viel and Couture families today. Aunt Lorraine (to many of us) was a wonderful woman and will be missed. May your sorrow be short, but the wonderful memories of Lorraine be everlasting.

Sally, Bruce, Paul and the entire Veil family,
I am a better person for having been loved by such a great and caring person as my aunt Lorraine, she was and will remain one of the most fabulous people I have ever had the pleasure to meet and more importantly love. She always made me feel special when in her presents, regardless of the number of people in attendance. Aunt Lorraine’s compassion was truly notable in the care she gave to Aunt Del for many years, never without a kind word, always giving of her time, attention, and to sharing her love and kindness for everyone she ever met, especially for her family.
My Marine Corps career, family politics, and distance have led to long period of separation and the ability to attend family gatherings. However, I can honestly say that my life was impacted by the kindness of a great women that has sustained me through the rough times and separation from my entire family. No words can explain the true impact and appreciation of having been in her presents and heart.
I can remember when Uncle Armando and Aunt Lorraine bought the matching Trans Ams. I recall Uncle Armando telling me he made sure Aunt Lorraine had the one with T-Top because she deserved it, he was right, she did and she loved them. I also recall Aunt Armando feeding me so much spaghetti that night I almost burst.
God made Aunt Lorraine a special person to ensure we knew we were loved and appreciated, and it worked. God has special plans for her in heaven and that is to continue enriching our lives through memories. Memories like no others. Though our hearts are heavy with grief today, her love has impacted us for a life time, from which we can find solace she has joined her God and peace be with her always.
May the loving hand of God be with each of you during this tremendous loss. Aunt Lorraine will forever be a source of inspiration, love, and endearment of kind thoughts and memories.
God bless each of you,
Scott M. Burns

Our deepest sympathy to the Sally, Bruce, Paul, and your families for the loss of your Mother. She has always had a very special place in our hearts. We will miss her terribly; the void she leaves will not be filled. Only knowing she is with God helps to relieve the ache we feel in our hearts. Thoughts and prayers are with you. Love, Lorraine and Norm
