Obituary of Bailey B. Burritt

Bailey passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2013, Bailey’s seven-year battle with Cancer ended in a peaceful sleep, in the home he so loved. Predeceased by his father, Bailey B. Burritt, Jr. and stepfather, Barnaby Rudge. He is survived by longtime best friend and wife of 41 years, Carol; sons, Bailey B., IV (Dawn Johnson) and Robert T. (Teresa Rogers); mother, Dorothea Rudge; sisters, Antonia/Toni Weddle and Kristina/Kris (Mike) Finley; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family would like to thank all the caring, compassionate staff at the Wilmot Cancer Center, URMC. Throughout Bailey’s long struggle, they always made his fight their own and gave him the extra years of time to spend with us. Private interment at the discretion of the family. A celebration of Bailey’s life will be arranged for at a later date.
