Uncle Jim was like a father to me and a role model. He will be dearly missed in my life and those he touched including my family (Heather, Sophia, Luke and Victoria).
Now Heaven gets to listen to all of CUJ's (crazy Uncle Jim) stories and wisdom. Plus he gets to run around and play with Gabe all day.

Jim,
We are all going to miss you terribly. Dianna and I looked forward to your calls. I think many of your friends who also had MS thought of you are a guardian angel always calling to check up on how they were doing. I've known you for almost 40 years, and you were always looking out for the other guy. Thanks so much for all you did. We will try to carry on in your memory.

I have known Jim for about 25 years. I first met him in the Good Shepherd Men's Group, then we became "regulars" at a local coffee house.
We talked almost every other day, although we could go a month or two without talking. Most mornings he would call at 8:45 am, I was not quite as regular as Jim. I will miss him greatly. Jim possessed an enormous amount of intelligence and wit. Getting to know Jim was not always easy as he enjoyed pushing everyone's buttons. He was always looking for your button. Not because he was mean, but because he took an interest in you and he thought that you were worth his effort. He was a jewel that did not let his MS define him. I extend my greatest sympathy to Jim's family and friends.
