I first met Don when he first got involved with the school board. Following this he got involved in politics whereby I was able to convince him take my place in the Conservative Party as the Town Leader when we moved here to Oklahoma. All of this goes back a long way yet now it seems like only yesterday since we first met. In all of these years that I have known Don, I have considered him to be one of my best and closest friends and will certainly miss him. The distance between us has not allowed us to see each other very often however we are very fond of Alice and the rest of the family and they mean a lot to both of us. We will truly miss you Don.

Don always brought a welcoming smile when he visited his Masonic lodge. I had the pleasure of sharing time with Don earlier this year while helping to raise money for the local Ronald McDonald House charity. May God bless his family and keep them strong in this difficult time.

My sincerest condolences to Don's wife Alice and his family over his sudden passing. I am one of Donald's Crystal Barn friends.
No matter what his work day may have been he was always happy with an optomistic view of life.
He showed me his compassionate and caring heart and gave me support when he learned of my wife's illness.
He was a good friend of all of us and a fun person to be with.
His business success undoubtedly was a result of his hard work, honesty, and fairness, but one could tell that his biggest love was his wife and family.
I was honored to have known this generous man just a relatively short time in both our lives. God Bless.

I worked for Don for over 6 years and I have never met a more generous man in my life. No matter what happened he always made you feel like family. It's only been a few days since his passing but we already miss seeing him drive by our house everyday beeping & waving!
