Obituary of Herta M. Pokorny

On November 2, 2010 Herta went home to be with the Lord. She was a devout Christian that served the Lord while she lovingly cared for many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews being a maternal figure in their upbringing. Predeceased by her father, Karl Pokorny; brother, Karl Pokorny; brothers in law, David Ward and Ross Sciolino. Survived by her mother Stefani Pokorny; brother, Joseph (Ann) Pokorny; sisters, Cecilia Ward and Helga Sciolino; nieces, Cecilia, Lynn Marie, Tammy, Lisa & Heidi; nephews, John, Joseph, James, David, William & Frank; many grand nieces and nephews, cousins and dear friends. She was a retiree from Eastman Kodak Co. after 26 years. Family and friends are invited to call at Miller Funeral Homes, Inc (3325 Winton Road So.) on FRIDAY from 11:00AM - 1:00PM; where at 1:00PM her funeral service will be celebrated in the Interfaith Chapel at Miller's.
