Obituary of Wayne L. Moody

Born and raised in Saranac Lake, NY he went home to be with the Lord and his wife Clara (Montanarella) Moody on August 4, 2013 at age 92. He is also predeceased by his brother, Miles Moody; sister, Mildred Chabot. He is survived by his daughters, Helen (Al) Cenzi, Lorraine (Paul) Griggs, Joyce (John) Perelli, Irene (David) Geen; grandchildren, Elaine Mettrick, Caren Chebby, Al Cenzi, Jr., Cassie Witkowski, Jeff Griggs, Kim Piazza, Katie Lanning, Kenneth Perelli, Elizabeth Wade, Abby, Jenny & David Geen; 17 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins, many loving friends and neighbors. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WW II, serving in the European Theater where he was a recipient of a Purple Heart. After the war he worked for Taylor Instruments where he retired after 36 years. In lieu of flowers friends may contribute to Honor Flight, in his memory. Visitation

Family and friends are invited to call at Miller Funeral And Cremation Services, Inc. (3325 Winton Road South) on WEDNESDAY from 4:00 – 8:00 PM.

Service Info

Bud’s Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Chapel at Saint Ann’s Home (1500 Portland Avenue) on THURSDAY at 12:00 PM (Noon).

Interment

Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
