Obituary of Robert G. Capps

November 10, 2010, at age 81, after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by his wife, Lois Wittig Capps; parents, James Nelson & Beulah McMurphy Capps; brother, James Nelson Capps. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Wallace Capps; son, David McMurphy (Angela D.) Capps; daughter, Deborah (Marc A.) Capps Duvin; grandchildren, Zondrea V. Capps, Joshua D. Capps, William J. Salm III, Alexandra R. Duvin, Daniel M. Capps, Jacob J. Capps & Joseph S. Capps. Bob was a member of Third Presbyterian Church, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Electrical Engineering Honors Society & an Airforce Veteran. He graduated from Utica College with a degree in Mathematics; later graduating, with honors, from Syracuse University with a degree in electrical engineering. The family will receive friends SATURDAY from 12:30-2:00 PM at Miller Funeral Homes (3325 Winton Road So.) Memorial services will be held at 2 PM in the Interfaith Chapel of the funeral home.
