Obituary of Jean Marie McCarthy

September 26, 2013 at age 82 at Highland Hospital. Daughter of the late James E. & Kathryn T. Murphy of Lockport, NY. She was predeceased by her husband, John on November 5, 2001. Survived by children, James (Ann), Terence (Laurece) & William (Stephen Plain) McCarthy; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Brian & Neil McCarthy, Rebecca (Ryan) Thomas and Aaron (Milana) Terruli; great grandchildren, Bradley, Spencer & Mallory Thomas, Tara Bosnic Terruli, and Aki Yano. Jean was a devoted parishioner of St. Boniface Church in Rochester for over 50 years and quietly lived her strong faith. She reveled in long conversations with her many friends and in family dinners with grandchildren gathered at her generous table. Her pursuits included homemaking, reading, shopping, current events, and family games of wit and historical knowledge, at which she was a master.
