Obituary of John J. Holland

On October 7, 2013 at age 95. Predeceased by his wife Eleanor and brothers Robert & James. Survived by his children, John Holland Jr, Joan (Guy) Campeau, William (Nancy) Holland, James (Jeri) Holland, Elaine (Jon) Shapiro, Marilyn (Jerry) Cormier, Eleanor Holland & Thomas (Harlene) Holland; grandchildren, Christopher, Monique (Steve), Chad, Jessica, Craig, Julianna, Lara, Heather, Alexxa, Cassandra, Logan, Calvin, Robert & Isabella; sisters-in-law & brother-in-law, Gerta Cogan, Mary Jane Holland, Kurt & Ronnie Stedingh. A Ret. Colonel USAR served during WWII and Korea; following his service John worked as a Quality Assurance Director at Xerox and General Dynamics, and was Regional Director for the Rochester Section of ASQ. He earned an Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and his Bachelors of Science in Economics from Villanova University. John was an active participant of the Kiwanis Club, Knights of Columbus and the Boy Scouts of America. John's Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 11:30 AM at the St. Marianne Cope Parish of Good Shepherd (3318 E. Henrietta Rd. VIEW MAP), Interment private.
