I am always going to be very upset over my grandpas passing. i always since i was a little girl got him tootsie rolls in a tootsie roll piggie bank for him for christmas and now with this holiday season looming over our heads, i can't even look at those without tearing up. i am so appreciative to my father for taking us up to the hospital to see him one last time before we had to go to another country the next day. we got to say our goodbyes, i love yous, and that he and my dad had a very lovely special talk, and that will forever be in my heart and nobody can take that away from us. our family is glad that our last sight of him was alive and doing his very individual laugh!!! with love from all of us in PA, Laurie (Hooper) Reandeau, Jim Reandeau, Nikki, and Christopher, we all love and miss you grandpa <3 i am just glad you can finally rest easy for once.

Patty and family, Mike was our neighbor in Camillus, my classmate, our paper boy and most of all a friend to the Quinn and Dadey families. He was the Mayor of Camillus!!!!!! Everyone loved him. We used to love seeing him at the Great New York State Fair guarding the Governor, He will be truly missed. Hang in there.

Patti, Michael, Shawn and Laurie, We were shocked and saddened to learn of Ed's passing. Our memories of him go back quite a few years but those memories are very good ones and that's what makes his passing so hard to accept. May god give you all the strength that you need to move forward knowing he is without pain and at peace now. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you during this very difficult time.

I have such fond memories growing up in the neighborhood and Mr. Hooper was a big part of that. Our 4th of July celebrations included lining the street with flares and all of us kids with our sparklers. The neighborhood always felt safer knowing Mr. Hooper and my Dad were always there. They are both very much missed. But they will once again be neighbors!
Sending love and deepest sympathies to Mrs. Hooper, Laurie, Michael, Shawn and their families.

We all have a mom and a dad - we couldn’t get here without one of each. Some of us are lucky enough to have had more than one father-figure….and I’m one of those lucky ones.
When I was a teenager, I was blessed to be welcomed by the Hooper family into their lives on a very regular basis. I spent time with Mr. and Mrs. Hooper celebrating holidays, going to festivals, wonderful restaurants, talent shows and scenic drives. I enjoyed countless days of fun and laughter with this family who treated me as though I were technically a part of it. On one occasion, I was even Mr. Hooper’s date to the governor’s wedding because Mrs. Hooper didn’t care for formal events – and “Hoopie” knew I’d love a chance to get decked out and rub elbows with the governor! So…off Hoopie and I went to the governor’s wedding and boy did we make curious heads turn when we showed up together; which we laughed about!! I will never, ever, ever forget you, Mr. Hooper. I’m so sad that you are gone, but I’m thankful that the cancer that took you didn’t drag out the painful process any more than it did. You forever hold a special place in my heart and I consider myself one lucky person to have known your warm smile, hearty laugh and encouraging embrace. RIP Edward C. Hooper xoxoxoxo

We walk around the block and then look Hooper's garage for Ed as our routine has been for years, but it is empty. We will greatly miss our 3-4 chats each week, another dear friend and neighbor has passed to the light.
