Obituary of Rosalie N. Curran

On July 13, 2018 at age 91. Predeceased by her husband Judge Arthur Curran & son, Kelly Curran. She is survived by her children, Kathy, Brian, Colleen, Constance & Christine Curran; grandaughters, Melissa (Nick) Pennise & Heather Curran; great-grandchildren, Marlo & Willa Pennise; brother-in-law, Jerry (Ann Louise) Curran; several nieces and nephews.

Rosalie was an avid reader who facilitated the Great Books Club in the 60's. She enjoyed collecting books, art and antiques. Rosalie loved all animals, especially cats. Throughout her life she traveled extensively with her husband, Arthur. After raising six children Rosalie went back to school to complete her bachelor's degree at the U of R and then obtained her Masters of Social Work from the University of Buffalo. She worked for many years as a Social Worker at the Rochester Psychiatric Center.

Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, 6-8 PM at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services (3325 Winton Rd S). Rosalie's interment will be held, Wednesday, 10:30 AM at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Donations in Rosalie's memory may be directed to the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm or the American Red Cross or the Alzheimers Association.
