He is survived by his wife Edith C. of 36 years; children, Derrick Stevenson, Alona (Robert) Myers, and Edith B. (Lamar) Burrell; grandchildren, Derrick (LaTonya) White, Ja'Quan White, and Anna & Daniel Myers; great grandchildren, Deon, Dionanna, Marquila, Dasia, Derrick Jr., Schquila, Derrick III, Malika and Ronald; great great grandchild, Marlon.
