I was school counselor at Thornell Road when Ellie taught there, but my favorite memory of Ellie was when she played piano at the Thornell Christmas parties so we could all sing along. It was such a joyous, fun time and I envied her ability to play anything with no music in front of her. That was such a gift she gave us by playing for our singing.

Dear Bradley Family,
I am sorry about the loss of your mom. She was a kind, passionate and fair neighborhood mom to all. The days of sledding in the back yard, hot chocolate, the tree house and holiday music are fond memories that I carry always.

Bradley Family, I am so sorry for your loss. Not only was your mom my neighbor for my whole childhood but I also had the great privilege of having her as my 4th and 5th grade teacher at Jefferson Road School. She always challenged me in school pushing me to be a better reader and writer and to make sure I followed my love for science. My first really cool science wow took place in her class as we all got to raise snails in my class. My snail was the only one to lay eggs. She also cast me as "Bob" in Rana's Pond. It was my first and last experience of "Stardom" I still have my manuscript from this play. We not only went to Music class to learn, but Mrs. Bradley would sing in class bring Music into our class everyday. There is a great song about Santa Clause that I can still hear her sing every Holiday season in my head. I will miss my teacher, friend and neighbor as you had such a great impact on my life.

Mark, I was so sorry to hear about the passing of your Mom. She has always had a special place in my heart, being she was my first teacher I had in this country. She was so kind and patient while helping me adjust to my move here. What an amazing life she led, while in the service to others. God bless.

Music!
That is how I will forever remember her. Together with Sue, Scott, Todd and Mark, making the most beautiful music. She was such a lovely, delightful person, and I have no doubt that she is now in heaven, singing with the angels. My deepest sympathies and best wishes for all of you,
Janie

Ellie was my first love! As a child every summer I spent my days at Sunset Park in Albion and when I was 5 Ellie, a new bride, was the camp counselor and lifeguard. Many years passed when I next reconnected with Ellie at Jeff Road school in a life skills program I facilitated. She was an outstanding teacher and over the next 25 years we had many fun times together. She will be remembered as a fine teacher who loved children.

Mrs. Bradley had a profound impact on my life and is one of the few teachers I remember very clearly. Some of my first appearances onstage were under her direction with our class plays "Tom Sawyer" and "Rana's Pond." I'm sure I am not alone in saying she will be dearly missed. What a wonderful contribution she made to the world.

I have so many wonderful memories of Mrs. Bradley- she was my 5th grade teacher and we had a lot of fun learning! We did a play that year- Rumpelstilskin and I was terrified to be on stage!! I remember as a Christmas present for her, I bought her a snowflake ornament and she told me that she put it on her tree. She even mailed me a "Thank you" note which I still have in my scrapbook. Pittsford School district always had the best of the best and I for one am blessed to have had her as my teacher. Rest in Peace !

I never met Mrs. Bradly, but I adored her husband who taught me to play flute. I still have that same flute and I still have his obit. I was devastated when he passed and I can tell he left behind a marvelous wife. Together again, at last. God Bless You All!
