Eulogy for Professor Pan
We deeply miss Professor Kee-Chuan Pan. I still remember back to 1970, when our young professor Pan used a simple toy “Drunken Duck” to introduce us to Physical Chemistry, our most difficult core course. He taught us with love and enthusiasm. He showed us that there was nothing to fear about the subject and encouraged us to study it thoroughly. With a solid foundation in the subject, I obtained my Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering. I use Physical Chemistry in my job daily. Thank you, Professor Pan. With your encouragement and inspiration, you enabled me to be the Chemical Engineer I am today.

我們深深地懷念潘可傳教授。我還記得1970年，我們年輕的潘教授用一個簡單的玩具“醉鴨”向我們介紹了物理化學，我們最困難的必修課程。他用愛和熱情教導我們。他告訴我們，物理化學沒有什麼好怕的，並鼓勵我們去深入研究它。物理化學堅實的基礎，讓我獲得了化學工程碩士學位。我每天在我的工作中使用物理化學。謝謝潘教授。有了您的鼓勵和啟發，您使我成為今日的化學工程師。
