Obituary of Francis Robert Murdock

Francis Robert (Bob) Murdock 86, died Jan. 4, 2014at Seneca Nursing Home, with his daughters by his side. Francis was born July 2, 1927, the son of Frances A. Bushen Murdock, and William O. Murdock. He was a graduate of Waterloo High School. He served in the US Navy during WWII, was a lifetime member ofthe VFW, and served as quartermaster for several years in Pittsford, NY. He was employed with Stromberg Carlson for 25 years and at Kodak for 10 years. He was predeceased by his parents; his beloved first wife, Elinora J. Weber Murdock; his daughter, Marilyn Louise Murdock; brothers,William “Bill” Murdock, Ronald Murdock; and sister in law, Norma Murdock. He is survived by his daughters, Barbara (Robert) Robinson, Deborah (David) Patrick, and Marylou Murdock; his grandchildren, Robert (Aubrey) Patrick, Stacey (Mike Bajdas) Patrick, Kevin ( Christina SanPietro)Patrick; great grandchildren, Krystal Robinson, Kendra Patrick,and Colton Patrick, all of Waterloo; brother, Donald (Eleanor) Murdock of SC, sister Nancy (Harold) Smith of Phelps, NY; sister-in-law JosephineMurdock, and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on FRIDAY, 10 AM at St. Mary’s Church (25 Center Street, Waterloo - Click Here For A Map), with Father James Fennesy officiating.
