1 Corinthians 13:4-7 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. This pretty much sums up Uncle Gus. He was kind, always finding something nice to say about anyone. He was never envious, always content with what he had. He didn't need all the worldly possessions so many of us think we need. He had a smile that lit up your heart. His smile was contagious. He never gave up. He always kept going, with a smile on his face and a winter hat on his head. Honor Gus by trying to live life like him, centered on love and the promises of God. "Yo-ho.....Uncle Gus, missing you : )"
