Obituary of Jennifer A. Hayes

Jennifer A. Hayes (Van Atta)　 Pittsford: Born on February 2, 1970 in Rochester, NY, Jennifer loved to travel, in fact, returning from Iceland just a few weeks ago. Jennifer is survived by so many people who loved her, including her devoted husband Will, who was the love of her life and treated her like a princess; three awesome kids Edith, Mitchell and Alex; two sissies, Leanne and Jill, with whom she was super-tight; her parents Margie and Leo; and dear friends. Educated and employed at RIT, Jen was not just an interpreter, but also a wonderful teacher, mother and friend. A celebration of the life of Jenifer Van Atta Hayes will be held on SUNDAY February 2nd at 2:00 PM at Browncroft Community Church located at 2530 Browncroft Boulevard, Rochester, New York, 14625. Click here for a map to the Church. In tribute to Jen’s wonderful, upbeat spirit, we ask that you honor her by wearing purple- her favorite color- to her memorial. In tribute to her adherence to practicality and emphasis on helping others, in lieu of ephemeral flowers, please send donations in her honor to Camp Good Days and Special Times. Following the 2 PM Sunday service at Browncrodt Community Church, we will gather in the Fellowship Hall to continue our celebration with personal stories, love and laughter and ask that you bring finger foods, snacks and light hors d’oeuvres to enjoy with the beverages that will be provided.
