I enjoyed getting to know Pat when I would take Sunday communion to her. We were fast friends. Then I saw a picture of two young people on her bookshelf, who I knew too. There was a picture of my Godson, Andrew and Pat's wonderful grand daughter, Alissa... We shared a love for these two terrific young people, so I felt a bit like family at that moment. And that was an honor. God bless all the kids' and grandkids' memories of this special lady and may they know everyday the were loved completely by Grams. I know she'll be there in spirit when Alissa and Andrew exchange vows.
