Hi Colleen & Nina,
I was shocked over the news of Brian's very untimely passing. He had recently sent me a note about the B&L situation and his desire to return to Michigan. Brian was the apple of my eye at Amway. We sang together in their Christmas program. Although we went our separate ways post-Amway, I remember meeting you in a department store w/him. He was so very happy! He will be missed. May all of Brian's family live in peace knowing the Brian was the an exceptionally wonderful person!

Dear Colleen.....
Certainly our prayers for comfort and peace are with you......and we recall so vividly singing "Great Is Thy Faithfulness" at yours and Brian's wedding. How true those words remain, even through this very difficult time. God bless you and Nina. May you be comforted by God's Word, family and friends, and many wonderful memories of Brian. In Christ, Russ and Ruthie

I am just now reading the comments written 8 years ago on Brian's obituary page! I have no idea why I've never read them before except that his death was a huge shock and it took awhile to get back to regular life! I so much appreciate your kind and thoughtful words!

Colleen and Nina,
I cannot begin to tell you how very sorry I am for your loss. Brian was a wonderful and gentle man who made a definate impression upon my heart. We worked in the same lab for a short time and were part of Bible Study Group. That is when I realized the beautiful spirit that he had and his conviction of faith. Though I prayed that he would recover I know that God had something more for him to do. I know he will be watching over you. May God bless you both. Rose

Dear Colleen, Nina, and Family,
My prayers for God's comfort and strength go out to you all during this difficult time. I didn't know Brian very well as I only recently started at B&L but the few interactions we did have stand out in my mind. He was a welcoming and kind man, always selfless in our conversations. I enjoyed the few lunches we got to have togther. All of us, including myself, will greatly miss Brian but I am glad to know he is with the Lord and no longer suffering. May God's love and blessing be with you all.
In Christ,
Sara

Brian was a great co-worker, classmate, and friend. Brian was so kind and patient in training me in the Analytical lab at Amway. He and I also car-pooled to many night classes at GVSU in getting our chemistry degreees. Everyone enjoyed his dry sense of humor. He represented Jesus Christ to everyone around him. He and Colleen were valuable church attenders at Blythefield Hills Baptist here in Michigan. Even though it's been a few years since I've seen him, I will miss him. May God grant his compassion, providence and protection on Colleen and Nina.

Brian was called home to be with the lord sooner than all of us that loved him felt he should have been.
I will miss Brian forever. He was such a help to me with my faith and life, he is a beautiful sole.
I will keep praying for Colleen and Nina, to have the strength they need to carry on, without Brian being physically there. For I know he will be with them forever in spirit.
Rest in peace Brian
