Obituary of Wilbur James Beikirch

  Rochester: Passed Feb 18, 2014 at the age of 97. Wilbur served in the US Army during WWII and was a part of the D Day landing force on Omaha Beach where he received a field promotion to the rank of 2nd Lieutenant. Wilbur was a retiree of Rochester Telephone and Ritter Corp. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and truly enjoyed the outdoors. Wilbur is predeceased by his wife Lillian Beikirch; wife Florence (Blythe) Beikirch; brothers Robert & Kenneth; daughter May (Blythe-Pimm); daughter-in- law Marleigh Beikirch; sons-in-law Thomas & William Blythe; & granddaughter Kelli Blythe. He is survived by his sons James (Nancy) & Richard Beikirch; daughter Florence (Alan) Kratz; family friend Matthew VanValkenburg; many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren & great-great grandchildren.
