Education is something John valued greatly throughout his life, taking time to receive his High School Diploma after the WWII interrupted his schooling and later in life he continued to seek growth through education attending classes at the University of Rochester and RIT. He began his professional career as a stock broker in earnest in 1956 with Palmer and Pollachi. He enjoyed an enduring and successful career in the investment services field for over 57 years with great passion for his profession and his clients. John and his daughter Renee have a financial services practice at Merrill Lynch . He was a true renaissance man spanning generations with a successful career and always taking time to mentor fellow advisors eager to learn from his almost 6 decades of knowledge. Outside of work John enjoyed his family and friends, the New York Yankees, golf and giving back whenever and wherever he could. He was instrumental in the continued success of the Rochester Area Bowling Tournament; raising funds for the RPO and Camp Good Days and Special Times; and was generous in his support of the American Heart Association, Special Olympics, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Boys Town, The Open Door Mission and many other charitable organizations. John lived his life from the inside out and will be greatly missed by the many lives he touched.
