Obituary of Sead Kreso

Survived by his devoted wife Ljiljana "Lilly" Kreso; three loving children, Hadis Kreso, Anesa (Edin) Brkanovic and Alen (Melissa) Kreso; Grandchildren, Benjamin Kreso, Benjamin Brkanovic, Isak Brkanovic and Alexander Kreso; Siblings, Kemal (Lela) Kreso, Alija Kreso and Mirsad (Minka) Kreso; many Nieces and Nephews Sead was born on February 23, 1944 in the town of Trebinje in Bosnia and Herzegovina where he was raised. He lived in town of Brcko, Bosnia where he began his family and worked in banking until he was forced to relocate to Syracuse, NY because of the war. While his family was displaced by the war Sead worked in the upholstery trade to support his family. Once settled in Syracuse, Sead's learned trade in upholstering led to his new career working for 10 years at the Marsellus Casket Company; upholstering the finest wooden caskets in the world. Eventually the company was acquired and closed forcing Sead into a third career and another relocation. This time to Virginia, to be closer to family and a new job working for Wegman's. Sead found many great friendships, was very proud of the work he was part of at Wegman's and, after losing a job through corporate acquisition, Sead found a company which he knew appreciated his hard work and daily effort. A family man at heart Sead was happiest surrounded by his family; he was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and Friend. His personal ambitions led him to pursue the arts - whether painting or woodworking - Sead was at peace working with his hands and using his creative mind to create... Family and friends are invited to gather at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services on FRIDAY from 11-1 PM to express condolences and share memories with his family. Interment will follow immediately in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Home Fairport, New York Birthplace Trebinje, Bosnia and Herzegovina Donations To a Charity of One's Choosing
