Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.
When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure.
Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, May the memories help comfort you today and tomorrow.

Ms.Miller was like my second mom here in Rochester. She was initally one of my patients. During the clinic visit we started talking about Jamaica and she invited me over for breakfast one morning. She began teaching me how to cook various Jamaican dishes. She would also take me to church (something that my real mom was always very thankful for). She was supposed to have a cook-off with my Dad when he came to town (she would have won). Ms. Miller was a kind, wise, spiritual lady who reminded me about the importance of family and charity. I will miss her very much, however it was time for her to be called home to her Lord. My heart hurts for her children and the rest of the family.

Mrs. Miller,
It is so hard to believe that you are gone. You have made such a great impact on my life and the lives of others. You were truly my second grandmother. I will never forget the memories you gave me. Everytime I was around you, I couldnt stop laughing. You were such a great person to be around and you always made me feel like I was a part of the family. I will really miss the stories, the laughter, and the time spent with you. I was very blessed to have known you.

But the love and support of family and friends will hopefully blunt the ache.

To Georgia and family: my sincere condolences for the loss of your mother.
I wish you strength and peace as you come to terms with this reality.
I can only say that everything that begins must end. Each day begins with a white light at sunrise and ends with a mature orange glow at sunset. Our lives are but as a day in the eyes of God.
At our day’s end we rest from our journey, from anxiety, pain and suffering; residing then in perfect peace, beauty and holiness in the bosom of God; and though you morn your Mother, celebrate her life and keep her always in your heart.

To my precious wife Glendine, Georgia & Savoya, Bruce (Adenike & Kids), Mrs. Miller was a very special and kind person. Family was always in the forefront and I’ll truly miss the stories she told of her past. I can always count on Mrs. Miller to call on a Friday afternoon as I check my voice mail saying “This is Mrs. Miller, Call me ASAP”, and I’ll call back just to hear her say “Just checkin on you, what’s going on?”. 1 Corr 13:13 States “Three things will last forever-faith, hope, and love-and the greatest of these is love”. Mrs. Miller possesses all three, Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, Hope that all things will be alright, and Love for her family and friends. One thing Mrs. Miller looked forward to, to see Glendine get married and we were able to pull it off for her, and prior to the wedding she always introduced me as her son-in-law. Although hard to conceive in the present, in the spiritual realm Mrs. Miller is in a better place (Psalm 23). Mrs. Miller, I will truly miss you, Love Christopher Swindall-Woodbine your Son-in-Law.

Mrs.Miller has always been a very selfless and good-hearted mother-in law to me. I will always remember her unconditional kindness to me especially throughout my pregnancy with Jordan. My mom and dad and the rest of my family are truly thankful for her kindness especially during the time my dad underwent a major heart surgery. She extended her love, welcomed me as a part of her family and showed me nothing less than kindness. She has touched the lives of many people, always giving more and leaving herself with little and sometimes none.Family was all that mattered to her. Birthdays and Christmas will never be the same again, because it was always a must for Evie to get her phonecard to call her family and dear friends in Jamaica. I still have difficulty believing that you are gone. It just seems so unreal. I will always remember you, Evie.
