John W. Spencer “Jack” Brighton: Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 27, 2014. Survived by his wife of over 50 years and the love of his life, June (Burkhard) Spencer. Jack was born on November 26, 1928 in Rochester, NY. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War era, a Freemason (32nd degree), and beloved fan of the N.Y. Yankees and all things baseball. Among his many interests and hobbies, Jack enjoyed British and Egyptian history, marquetry and woodworking, and coin and sports memorabilia collecting. Jack and his wife June recently moved from their life-long home in Irondequoit to the Friendly Home Community in Brighton. Home Brighton, formerly of Irondequoit Birthplace Rochester, New York
