Obituary of Francisca Padilla

Francisca Padilla (Colón) Rochester: Passed away on June 15, 2014 at age 88. She was predeceased by her husband Ramon; daughter, Migdalia; sisters, Ara Minta Peratta, Lydia Colón; brother, Angel Colón. She is survived by her children, Lydia Otero, Judy Padilla, Raymond Padilla Jr., Gloria Marrero, Nancy Padilla, Danny Padilla (Lori), Nydia (John Rodriguez) Padilla-Rodriguez, Lucy (Orland) Dennis, Linda (Michael Mazzeo) Padilla-Mazzeo, & Anthony Padilla; grandchildren, Lisa (Hector Melendez) Charlie Otero (Elba), Raymond, Joey, Rachel, Maria, Crystal, Raymond Jr, Jeanette (Jeremiah) Ridgeway, David, Jalen & Michael; 34 great-grandchildren; step brothers, step sisters and many dear friends. Francisca was a small business owner for over 40 years, neighborhood organizer and worked a second job as a crossing guard for 20 years. Her love for children and her family will be missed. Family and friends are invited to call on THURSDAY, June 19th from 1:00 - 3:00 and 6:00 - 9:00 PM at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 3325 Winton Road South.
