Now that I'm an adult, I realize how great a neighborhood it was that I grew up in. Ms. Lohr was one of those neighbors that made it that way. I remember telling my mother that I wanted to grow up to be like Ms. Lohr. I'm sure she has been reunited with Tinkerbell (the queen of the street) and Penny (that crazy dog).

Betty,
Thanks for being a teacher, mentor, and friend. As Barb and Anetta both said, we were lucky to have you when we were all young, and somewhat foolish :-). You were a great role model for all of us "Shorty".
You will always be a part of who we are.

May your family have peace and comfort during your time of loss. We look forward to a time when we can spend eternity with our precious loved ones. (John 11:25) Jesus said to her: “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life;

It is with great sadness that Betty, one of the most wonderful women ever known, passed away on Thursday evening, June 19, in Rochester, NY. Never having any children of her own, Betty was an inspiration to countless individuals, many of whom she hired in our late teens/early 20s into the Payroll Department at Kodak. She acted as our surrogate mother, mentor, inspiration, and champion. She has been our connection to one another for over 40 years. Betty was 94 years old, born Jan. 25, 1920. Betty, rest in peace - may we always remember you.
