Abby was one of the most free-spirited, fun-loving people in our Studio class. Thinking about our times with her, the most constant memory is of her smile- she had a smile that spread to her eyes and to every person in the room. Her artwork, regardless of subject matter, always seemed like a self-portrait, filled with the vibrant colors of her personality. Abby was an inspiration to both of us to take every opportunity, to be ourselves, and to live life to the fullest.

Chris & Maureen,
I am so very sorry for the loss of your Abby.
On February 22,1994, I lost my 16 year old neice in an automobile accident. It is as close as I can be to understanding the grief, disbelief and sadness you must be feeling.
The pictures shown of Abby show a beautiful, fun loving young woman. You did a great job raising her & what great blessings she has brought your family; these truths can never be taken from you.
My prayers & deepest sympathies are with your entire family now and in the future as you travel through the process of your grief as individuals and as a family. I wish you strength & peace.
Sincerely,
Beth Dwyer-Bunce

Life has ways of teaching and reminding us of very important things. And although those can seem impossible to understand, these things are always there. You may never stop mourning, but I will pray that each of you will find a way to live life to the fullest, and to look to the future with optimism rather then fear. I love and care for all of you and know you will all make it through this time.

Dear Pruitt Family,
There are no words that I could truly share with you that would ever help to ease the pain that you all feel. I believe that some people were given to us for just a short while to complete their "job" and return to Heaven. Abby was always such an angel here on Earth, she always greeted everyone with that infectious smile now she has gained her heavenly wings. Gone too soon...
Jill Rivard is right, no one should go through what all of you are now, but for those that have been there, rely on us and let us help.
All my love to you and to Abby...
