Obituary of Gerard F. Joyce D.D.S.

November 6, 2014 at age 87. Son of Joseph and Catherine Joyce. Predeceased by his brother, Joseph, Jr. (WWII – Navy); sister, Katherine Huss-Salmin and brother-in-law, Harry Willmes. He is survived by his loving wife Rose Marie (Schuster) of 47 years; sister, Florence Willmes and brother, Robert; many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Jerry was an Aquinas Graduate, served in the Army – WWII in Japan, returned to graduate from St. Bonaventure University. in Chemistry. Continued on to Georgetown University Dental School for his D.D.S. Practiced 37 years in the Temple Building, Rochester and belonged to the Monroe County 7th District and A.D.A. Jerry enjoyed hunting, fishing, skiing, tennis, golf for 47 years at Oak Hill Country Club and ice skating on the Rideau Canal in Ottawa. Friends are welcome to call SUNDAY, November 9 from 2-5 PM at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. (3325 Winton Rd S View Map). His funeral mass will be held on MONDAY November 10 at 11 AM at St. Louis Church (64 South Main Street, Pittsford View Map). Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
