Obituary of Pauline H. Smith

Pauline H. Smith “Polly” Passed on 11/30/14 at the age of 95. Predeceased by: Husband John J. Smith and Son Erin W. Smith. Survived by Grandchildren: John B. Smith, Rick VanAlstyne & Debbi VanAlstyne; Daughter-in-law Barbara Smith and several Great Grandchildren. Polly was a volunteer, educator, world traveler and lover of animals. She earned a Master’s Degree from Geneseo State College and was a member of the American Legion Post #151. In 1997 Polly was named Henrietta Woman of the Year. A memorial service will be held on Saturday December 13th 4pm at the Rochester Presbyterian Home Chapel located at 256 Thurston Rd, Rochester, New York 14618.
