Obituary of Richard T. Maruke

Born & raised in Rochester, NY. Survived by his wife of 57 years, Ann Marie; daughters, Debbie Maruke & Roxanne (Lee) Daubenspeck & son Christopher (Eileen) Maruke; grandsons, Hunter, Connor & Ryan; sister, Kathleen Guerra & nieces, nephews & in-laws.

Richard attended Erie County Technical School studying architecture and mechanical drawing; he designed and built 2 homes, one in Fairport and one in Prattsburg, NY. He had a long career in construction, working on the foundation of Rochester's landmark buildings. His true love was mowing his yard with his ever present John Deere tractor. Renowned for his perfect straight lines, in his gardens or anything he built. He was a man of few words and showed his love by doing; whether painting, building decks or patios or hanging light fixtures. Rock was an avid Yankees and NY Giants fan and we know he will be rooting them on always.
