Dear McGinn family. I am sorry to hear of your mom's passing. Interestingly enough I was thinking about her a few days ago. My uncle, Gordon Law sent me the obituary. He is brother in law to my mother, Eileen Pickett who was very close to Dorothy and Fred. As a matter of fact they are either my or my brother' s godparents. My parents Eileen and Pick actually shared a few apartments with Dorothy and Fred after the war around Flushing and Queens. I also want to say your mother/relative had the most melodic voice I have ever heard. I would describe it as mellifluous. Well I have many fond thoughts as I know you do. Take good care of yourselves.

We're so sorry about Aunt Dorothy's passing. What a beautiful person and loving aunt she was. The last child in her family to pass on. Sharon and I are going to try to drive up for the funeral this weekend from NYC. In the meanwhile all her sons and their families are in our thoughts and prayers.

I have happy memories of Dorothy and family gatherings at 76 Medfield Dr and Cananandaigua Lake. She was lovely lady, loving wife and mother. I regret that illness of a dear friend is taking me out of town and unable to join you in the celebration of a life well lived. Prayers, love and support!
