Obituary of Michael A. Marasco

January 20, 2015 at age 54. He was a loving husband for 32 years and BFF to Margaret (Thomas) Marasco; beloved father and mentor to Paul M. & Peter A. Marasco; he is also survived by his favorite family members, sister in law, Patricia (Gary) Herman; nephews, Michael (Kathy) and their children, Emma & Nathanial Herman, Timothy (Stacy) Herman & Sean Herman. Mike was among 1% of men who develop male breast cancer. He battled for 4 1/2 years with the help, love & support of his favorite physicians: Dr. Marcia Krebs, Dr. Timothy Quill, Dr. Robert Molinari & Dr. Patricia Somerville. He was the owner of Upstate Hobby Supply. Mike had a great talent for designing, creating & special love of woodworking. He spent many years as a stay at home dad before it was fashionable, and was the first lunch dad at St. Ambrose. Thanks to his friends for life: Frank Farina, Drew & Don Helfer, Ernie Passaro, Mark Reinboldt, Rich Ross, Kathy & Mike Sheridan, Sandy Felice, and the Pullyblank & Pakan families.
