Obituary of Richard F. Dhondt
On February 4, 2015. Survived by his wife Diane Niermeyer (Dhondt); daughter, Susan Dhondt Barton of Bloomfield; granddaughter, Kaitlynn (Daniel) McCumiskey of New Hampshire; sister, Carol Potter of Canandaigua; nieces and nephews. Richard was born and raised in Canandaigua where he also raised his family. He worked as a Machinist for Eastman Kodak. Richard enjoyed preparing holiday meals for his family, hunting, fishing and going on cruises.
Family and friends are invited to Richard's funeral service, Saturday, 3 PM in the Chapel of the funeral home [3325 Winton Rd S]. the family will receive friends from 2-3 PM prior to the services. Interment will be in White Haven Memorial Park at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Imus Ranch, a camp for kids with cancer or Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center in his memory.
