February 25, 2015 at age 84.Predeceased by her husband, James; daughter, Deborah Berwalt; mother, Charlena Strong; sister, Christine Strong. Survived by her sons, Philip (Barbara) Misner, Jeffrey (Diane) Misner of Slatington, PA; Son in-law, Jerome Berwalt of West Seneca, NY; grandchildren, Jason (Tiffany Arnold) Misner, Ian (Stefanie) Misner, of Westminster, MD, Corrine (Brandon) Hyman of Slatington, PA, Aislynn Berwalt of West Seneca, NY; great grandchildren, Brooklyn Ann Misner, Penelope & Cordelia Misner and Malia and Jaxson Hyman; siblings, Ginger (Don) Myers, Sue Romaine, Jack Strong, Fred (Jeannette) Strong, Elaine Leavy; several nieces, nephews and friends. Dorene was a retiree of Rush Henrietta in the Food Service department. Dorene's family wishes to thank the entire staff on West 1 at The Shorewinds Nursing Home for their loving care. A Memorial Service will be announced in the spring at Christ Episcopal Church, 36 South Main St., Pittsford, NY 14534. Those wishing may contribute to Christ Episcopal Church in Dorene's memory.
