Obituary of John W. Monna

John W. Monna “Jack” Passed away on July 12, 2015 at age 94. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 65 years, Arline Monna; siblings and their spouses, Evelyn Monna, Agnes Jane Monna, Madeline (Jack) Lancer, Frank (Margie) Monna, Bernice (Irv) Bramer & Helen (Roy) Ruf. He is survived by his children, Ann (Rick) Breen, Janet (David) Whitcomb and Ellen (Alan) Smith; grandchildren, Amanda (Julie Zaebst), Jenna (Nick Cass) & Matthew Breen, David Whitcomb, Michelle (Kyle) Kingston, Daniel & Meghan Smith; great-grandchildren, Braden, Lindsey, Avery, Jacob, Ashley & Derrick; extended grandchildren, Leslie, Allison, Megan & Rebecca; many nieces, nephews and friends. Jack was an Army Air Corps Veteran of WWII, serving in the Pacific Theater and a member of American Legion Post #941. Jack was a long-time employee of Bausch & Lomb and a retiree of NTID. The family wishes to thank Julian & Marie Borkowski for all their love and support. Family and friends are invited to his Memorial Mass on FRIDAY, July 17th at 11:15 AM at the Church of the Assumption (20 East Ave., Fairport Click for a Map to the Church).
