Obituary of Kerry D. Peterson

Kerry D. Peterson Fairport: November 23, 2009 at age 55, surrounded by his loving family, after a brief battle with cancer. Predeceased by his parents, Clifton & Betty Peterson; brother, Kevin Peterson; sister, Lauranne. Survived by his wife & best friend of 30 years, Emily (Cruickshank) Peterson, sons, Christopher (Carrie) & Gregory (Jennifer) Peterson; granddaughters, Hailey & Kamryn; brother, Kelly (Nancy) Peterson; nephews, aunts, cousins; his extended family at QualiTrol Corp. and his beloved brothers in the musical world, especially, Billy Goodness, Spanky Haschmann, Kinloch Nelson, Garry Manuel and John Nau. Kerry was a loved and respected musician in the Rochester area, playing his beloved bass in many bands and orchestras from the time he was a very young man. Among those are Sweet Feelin', Yankee, The Spanky Haschmand Big Band Orchestra, Ross Cerri Band, Center Stage, Sean Patrick McGraw and SunUp. The family wishes to thank Dr. Paul Burns, Dr. Marcia Krebs and the staff of Visiting Nurse Service for their loving care and compassion these past few months. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, November 27, 2009 from 4-8 PM at Miller Funeral Homes, Inc., 3325 Winton Road S., where services will be held in the Interfaith Chapel of the funeral home on Saturday at 4:30 PM.
