Obituary of James E. Schirmer

On August 11, 2015 Jim passed away peacefully at his home at the age of 60. Predeceased by his parents David and JoAnn Schirmer; Survived by his loving family, wife, Barb; sons, Matthew (Leigh) & Timothy (Tessa) Schirmer; grandchildren, Camryn, Anna & Mason Schirmer; siblings, David (Ginger) Schirmer, Kathleen (James) Walther, William (Patty) Schirmer, Mark (Andi) Schirmer, Daniel (Becki) Schirmer & Michael (Scott Senesombath) Schirmer; aunt, Barb (Ernie) Borer and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews. Jim was a caring husband & father who loved spending time with his 3 beautiful grandchildren. His time spent fishing on Keuka Lake and plotting his next Fantasy Football victory were joys he relished deeply. Family & friends may call FRIDAY, 3-7 PM at Miller Funeral & Cremation Services (3325 Winton Rd S) where Jim's funeral service will be celebrated at 7 PM in the Interfaith Chapel.
