Obituary of Raymond L. Heath

September 7, 2015 at age 87. Our gentle father and husband of 65 years has moved onto the next leg of his journey surrounded by the love of his family. His incredible kindness, compassion and devotion continue to serve as a beacon to us all. Predeceased by his daughter Heather and four sisters, Marie Hwiecko, Bea (Gus) Weiss, Dorothy (Irv) Greenberg, Irma (Bernie) Rumbutis. Ray is survived by his wife Ann; children, Laurie (Bruce) Konte, Tim, Mark, Sally, Liz (Mary); grandchildren, Lindsay and Nathan Konte, Christina (Greg) Smalley, Sabrina Heath, Hannah Payne; great grandson, Hunter Smalley; very close friends; nieces, nephews and family. Ray was the youngest of five children born to Harry and Katharine Heath. He grew up in Brockport and the 19th Ward of Rochester, where he met his future wife. They started a family and raised six children in Hilton, NY. He retired from Kodak after 32 years and embarked on 30 amazing years of traveling to all 50 States in the US. At Ray's request there will be no services. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the Seneca Park Zoo.
