Obituary of Richard A. Zuber

Born October 25, 1923 Dick passed peacefully on October 28, 2015, surrounded by his loving wife of 69 years Jeanette, and his six children Mary Gleichauf, Ann (Mark) Czebatol, Richard (Jacqui) Zuber, Deacon Michael (Audrey) Zuber, Carol Van Norman, Martin (Gary Morrow) Zuber. He celebrated his 92nd birthday with his children, 12 grandchildren and 14 great grand children. He looked forward to joining his daughter, Joyce Page and reuniting with his parents in heaven. Dick served in the 8th Infantry Division in World War II and was awarded two Purple Hearts. He continued to be very proud of that service and his country. Dick spent 20 years as a Deputy with the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, drove bus for Rush-Henrietta Schools and was active at the Eli Fagan VA Post, Good Shepherd Church and the Knights of Columbus. Family and friends are invited to call on FRIDAY, 7-9 PM at Miller Funeral & Cremation Services (3325 Winton Rd S View Map). Dick's Memorial Mass will be celebrated on SATURDAY, 10:30 AM at St. Marianne Cope Parish at Guardian Angels (2061 E. Henrietta Rd View Map). Interment private.
